Behind the Lens

Meet Grayland Fredericks

Owner & Lead Photographer at Grayfish Photography LLC, based in Pass Christian, Mississippi.

Grayfish Photography was founded on a simple premise: professional portraits and photography sessions should feel collaborative, relaxed, and empowering.

We don't just stand behind a tripod and press a shutter button—we direct the entire experience. By blending technical lighting expertise with psychological expression coaching, we ensure every portrait captures genuine authority, warmth, and individuality.

"Most people dread having their picture taken because they feel awkward or unguided. Our job is to eliminate every bit of that tension the moment you step in front of the camera."

Our Approach

How We Work With You

Whether it is an executive headshot, a commercial team shoot, or a family milestone, every shoot is anchored in these four commitments.

🎯

Active Direction

Never wonder where to look or what to do with your hands. We coach your posture, head tilt, and micro-expressions continuously throughout your shoot.

🖥️

Live Real-Time Proofing

We shoot tethered directly to high-definition monitors. You review and approve your favorite images during the session so you leave 100% confident.

✨

Authentic Retouching

We clean away temporary blemishes, stray flyaways, and soften harsh glare, while preserving your true skin texture and character intact.
